well i just replaced the original denso plugs in my el fairmont that had done 90000k with ngk $4.80 spark plugs and i noticed a huge difference. the old plugs were dry fouled with carbon, so yeah you don't need to spend big dollars to get a performance increase...........my thoughts anyway........

Yeah replaced the plugs yesterday and im very happy with the results, on LPG the car runs alot better than it used to. Feels like the car has a bit more go now. Acceleration is much better on both fuels, but yeah.

The car did backfire on me the other day and it was bloody loud, dont know if that had ne thing to do with the new spark plugs but oh well.

Im happy.

Yeah ive definately noticed the difference. BUT the only thing now is that my car has backfired 3 times since changing the plugs over. I mean it backfired on the old ones but, just seems to happen more often now.

Dont know whats going on thier but the car still drives pretty damn nice!

You gotta wonder though if the difference is because of the Iridium plug or because your old plugs were old. My old plugs were still decent when I fitted my Iridiums and I noticed jack...

Hmm well the spark plugs them selves were not damaged as in the tip of them, but thier were signs of carbon build up. Not overly bad.

If the iridiums last more than 50,000kms than im happy with that even if i did pay a lil bt more for them. $70 isnt much compared to the others i first got which were over $100

Taking my car to a LPG specialist tommorrow to source out whats going on with this backfiring. Its rather annoying at times and smells too lol. :?

Im guessin the LPG system may just need to be tuned properly, the lpg filter may need changing too i think..
