Hi guys besty here i just bought my nl concorde fairlane and it was on gas for approx 3yrs when i bought it last week. Ive had it removed but it still has a rough idle(driveable doesnt stall) and the mechanic said that i should just put some additive through it to clean the injectors as the guy before me probs didnt run it on petrol much. Just wondering if anyone has thoughts on this and if it sounds right. Im thinking of getting newer injectors but they are proving hard to find.

is the fuel stale?
changed the fuel filter?

Could be dirty injectors mines just started running rough on petrol, gas is perfect ,for you put some fresh fuel in and some injector cleaner and cross your fingers .

thanks guys just booked it in to get either the injectors or fuel pump sorted. Plus lowered hopefully.

good stuff mate, ive got a dual fuel el and i dont run it on petrol as much as i should and weneva i switch it over to petrol it idols slightly rough. so its just the injectors getting dirty and slightly clogged so +1 to that its ur problem mate

yeh i spoke to one of the mechanics today and he said it looks like the fuel pump which would be cool as its cheaper but watever it is ill post it on here so others have an idea. Ill post some pics up soon just wanted to wait to get it lowered.

just got the nl back and they had to replace the ignition coil, injectors and fuel pump/filter. so pretty costly and the timing had to be done so it runs sweet now but hurt the wallet a bit. lol.
