Hey guys, I just bought one last Sunday in Sydney! It's a dec/96 model, with cream leather interior and sunroof optioned. 120,000kms, immaculate condition, 12mths rego, all for $10,500!

I bought it from that Lamborghini dealer in Mosman, it was his mothers car and he bought her a new one. It was sitting in his showroom for a few months without advertising it, it lapsed rego and he just wanted to get rid of it I suppose. So he's got is registered and I pick it up this Saturday!

I've decided on getting a $500 3yr warranty on it also.

It beats my EAII Fairmont Ghia that's for sure! :P

(hope this is the right place to post this!)

Hey guys.

Daniel it's the same colour as your sexy beast, well, your old one! Heritage Green, and 120,000kms on it

I pick it up tomorrow morning (Sat), so I'll be sure to take some pics of it. I think he's gonna detail it too, so should be looking hot! :D

What plans do you have for it, and is it 6 or 8cyl?

Ah well, its gotta be better than the white one I looked at! It was an ex hire/limo car, the transmission seemed to be rooted, no power, suspension was lopsided, and his son had just run into a pole a few days earlier, and he was so kind as to offer me $1000 off for it LOL he was dreaming, even for $10K (126,000kms).

It's a 6cyl, and i basically just want to lower it, get some dark tints, some decent wheels, maybe a sweet exhaust too. Nothing too drastic at the moment...

How do you guys with darker than legal tints go with the cops? My EA had 20% tints, but it was a 1991 model so the guy said it was legal for that year and wouldn't have any problems. But I was thinking of putting 20% on my 1996...

Oh, yeah, right, sorry - been there, good fishing spots in Ballina.

I have a 1998 NL Fairlane Ghia with 168,000 kms on it. Been in my family since it had 90,000 kms on it. Full leather trim and white paint, a real gem.

Nice, sounds like my old fairlane when its all done - and yes go 20% tint, looks awesome, ive got 30% with slight mirror finish on it (not deep dark black look) and love it.
I dont like the look of white fairlanes to be honest, best ive seen is drones and niels, both look and sound tough with the windsors - happy to hear you got the heritage green one! 8-)
