hey , i got a new fuel pump , fitted it correct, just like how the old one came out , all the wiring is on properly , but its not pumping fuel , i can hear it turn on , but just wont pump , i have been having some issues with the bcm , but i dont know what else it could be , relay maybe ? would appreciate if anyone can give me some ideas cause its driving me crazy , its an ef xr6 falcon , thanks guys

If you can hear the pump turn on then it cant be bcm related or relay related. Are you sure you just havent put the hoses back on the wrong way? Or if it wont even pump out the tank outlet, the wiring must be backwards?

Have you removed the fuel hoses on the BBM? If you have you may have them on back to front. In otherwords you have the sender line from the fuel pump going into the rear of the fuel regulator stoping flow.

the wiring only can go on one way , the terminals are 2 different sizes , i have no idea whats causing it , i only took the pump out , didnt touch anything under the bonnet , im stumped guys

you may have bumped the little hose off when fitting it back in,unscrew the fuel filter and turn the key on and see if fuel comes out

Spaniad, did you replace the filter when you changed the pump and did you also put a new seal on the flange of the pump housing?
