Hi Guys, my EF Fairmont Ghia has decided to stop spraying water onto the windscreen. I've used a pin thinking it might be blocked - but no joy.
Any suggestions??? |

have you tried replaceing the motor that actually propels the water from the bottle to the hose jets?
Try getting one person to listen to see if the motor is whirring healthily or working at all while the other squirts water on the windscreen from inside the car. Not uncommon for those motor's to die on you.

Had the same problem, blew the lines out with compressed air and took the motor out to fill it with crc. Still working a year later!

i had a similar problem on the fairmont last year, I removed the washer bottle and found there was a build up of sludge at the bottom where the water pickup is. Cleaned it all out and it now works like a charm.

remove the hose to the pump, and back-blow down the system through the outlets.
check the bottle
