Dont know what size it is but get yourself some sort of mesuring device they come in handy. Unless you've modded the intake pipe you're probly wasting your time with it but.

id just go a k&n panel filter but if you must go a pod filter buy a 3 inch if it fits good work, if it doesnt then you just bought a $15 paper weight

How are you planning to mount the pod? In the stock air box? Or just in the bay replacing the whole airbox assembly?

lol . poor kid. u will learn here fast there are some "older" people who arnt into the pod filters and neons and sick mate stuff. ie pod filter unboxed = sickk matee because its just sucking hot air from the engine which is worse than running a cai. and its also illegal. go to technical documents (up top) and u will find a step by step into fitting a pod boxed) you will still have the induction sound. it wont fit onto the stock intake pipe afaik, so modding will need to be done. to be honest its not worth it there is no gain in running a pod. its better just getting a panel filter.

ok panel filter does exactly the same as a pod. remember the reason why they make this sound it because they are "high flow" compared to the paper filter which pretty much has more filter particals compared to a highflow. a panel filter is a straight change over from the paper panel. it will give u the sound you want but not as loud as a pod. none have an advantage over each other. some say a pod has more surface area but when u think about it the engine is sucking the air in.

Have a look at the au falcon.com page. G&D performance shop have done extensive testing and sell a product that consists of a large 9in length pod filter covered by a heat shield. The shield basically is a side, top cover that stops heat from the thermo fans and from the top of the bonnet(hot air rises..lol..)

Cost is $600 and will pick a few kw's. You can do it yourself quite cheaply for under $150 if you have a few tools. Just use thin sheets of alloy and buy a 9in K&N pod filter of ebay etc for $80 or a 9in Drift, AEM filter etc for the same price. A 9in pod filter has more surface area than a stock panel filter (about 1/3rd more surface area.)

cheers......

Dork. Are you sure that'll work with your fully sik "dose kit"

It f**k filters air. If you put on a pod, you'll get hot air sucking in making your car go s**t, and besides, k and n panels give you the same fully sik sound.

Douchebag.

i take it by 'works a charm' you really mean lets in lots of hot, poorly filtered air.
