HAVE TO TYPE THIS IN ALL CAPS
OMG MY CAR RUNS 2 WEEKS OF ASSING AROUND AND IT WAS THE EXTRA SHIM I CHUCKED IN FOR CAM. One thing I have to ask though, does anyone know if the lifter assembly is the same from EF-EL-ELHybrid? As I am using a EF head with the EL Cam/Rocker Assembly and car runs with no shims but with 2 shims, no compression and no run. Will try 1 shim after I eat! |

the el hybrid runs the same cam and rocker assembly as au, so au and hybrid have different rocker ratio compared to ef or early el...

yeah its the bloody extra shim that screwed me over.i assed around for 5 days till i got it running.the cam doesnt seem to make much of a difference though.....??

EL Hybrid Rocker assembly with EL Hybrid Cam on EF Tickford head... Will that work ok? I don't have any accurate measure equipment so can't check valve heights etc... But it should work fine shouldn't it? |
