On my way back from the city last night I came up to a set of lights so I stopped and pushed the clutch in.. Thats when I relised it went in about 5cm :? Anyway i get going then when I started pushing the cluth in it makes a huge screeching sound and I have no idea what this is :| I hope its just the clutch and nothing else? I took a look at the engine and oil & coolants are fine along with no visble damage to the engine ect. There was a burning smell too, but im guessing that I burnt out my clutch -.-
But what about the screeching?

And does anyone have an idea how much a new strong clutch will be?

Cheers,

Liam.

$250.00 onwards, PBR/Clutch Industries RPM's are very decent.

alright thx for that. Would a brass button clutch be worth looking at, there meant to be very strong right?

mmm got a few quotes, its gonna cost $750 all up for a new clutch, bearing ect, the whole works. Better than the other $1000 quotes I got.
