well found out yesterday that my cam is f**k. the hardening is actully chipping off due to a blocked oil line coming from the sump. luckily no other damage can be seen but i now need to get a new cam (o already had that planned but not so soon). my question is which cam to get!!??
my engine is just a EA 3.9 with hi tech extractors and 2.5 mandrel bent redback. i want a nice hot cam but nothing that is going to f**k the s**t out of the valves/springs. im thinking maybe the WADE 1636? ohh and ill be getting a brand new one too. cheers |

The one I have is good....plenty of torque....you should try the ALTED ones....there very good from what I have seen......

yeah i would but the problem is hes a mechanic. so does anyone have any suggestions on what cam to get? cheers

yeah get the ALTED cam.. you know you want to.. I want you to as well, just run away from hom and never tell your father the wonderful thing you have done and the beautiful thing your ford has become..
Remember ALTED Stage 1, 2 and 3 Designed by Jaysen. flick him a PM he may beable to get an ALTED cam of your liking on a billet.. $$$ though. BTW goodluck finding a new e series cam. But I have eaten my words before..[/b]

i was putting a new rocker cover gasket and rocker cover on and was just having a look and could see it

Wade cams are regrinds too,
Crow do make billet cams.

Wade'll do billet versions of there cam, there's a significant price difference.
