Mate, any location where it could be coming from? eg. front, back, left, right? it will be a gaskit of some sort not to hard to replace if you know a little bit. it also could be you oil filter o'ring so look at you oil filter see it there is oil drops on it. in that case when you service it the oil leak should go. please give more specific info on the location and we should be able to help.

Could be a rear main if it looks like its further down near the gearbox? Do you know if its engine oil? sure its not powersteering or transmission fluid?

You really need to be more specific here so we can help you out a bit better :)

Just had a look it is defentily at the front of the engine. not from the rocker cover gasket not the filter either but lower it is drippiging onto the bit underneath the thermo fans. How much would it cost to get fixed by a mechanic? if it is one of the gaskets.

thanks

Sump gasket? Timing cover? Front main?

Try cleaning it off with some degreaser and try to figure out exactly where its coming from. Need to be specific so can figure out what is leaking... cost to repair will depend on what needs removing...

yeah the price all depends on whats leaking and what need removing to replace the gasket. depending on what exactly it is you could replace it yourself. cause gaskets are cheap and taking it to a greese money will rip you off. try find out wat it is

Oil leaks are sooo much fun, I had what i thought was an oil leak from the front of my engine, turned out to be the water pump! Once she really let go it was obvious but before that the water was picking up all the oil and dirt.

just fixed an oil leak in my car, first all the sump bolts where loose as and then i found that there is an bolt that holds a little filter for your timing chain loose as i mean finger tight. the bolt is just above the water pump on the head.
at least my engine and underbody is nice and clean now after i hit it with a high pressure steam cleaner.
