well today me my brother an a mate started the manual conversion an wel its all going great till i decided to start on pullin my pedal box out, iv undone the 5 on the firewall two up behind the instrument cluster and the one connected to the hand brake, an from whati can feel there are no other nuts holdin it on but the bloody thing wont come out


anyone know how to get the bloody thing out???

any help would be great

u dont need 2 pull the whole dash out cos ive had 2 pull mine out 2 times now as clutch peddle broke out! there is 3 more that hold it in ill have a look on my car and post more!!!

but where could they be? im not sure if i have said all the ones that i have taken out but iv run my hand all along what i can feel to be apart of the pedal assabely an al oh which i have taken out but the bloody thing wont budge

Yeah, my pedal box collapsed back in 2000, there was no Fordmods to turn to lol.

I started unbolting it and she wouldn't come out, then i came to the realisation it had to come out... Sorry mate you have no choice!

What i did was unbolted the dash and folded it back enough to undo the bolts and remove the pedal box.

pull ya instrument cluster out ther is 3 or 4 behind there i gather u have pulled out the 5 around the steering colum goes through the fire wall

yea na i did that but were was one that i couldnt see or get cos of the air vent screw peice was in the way


got it now, just unscrewd the top half of the dash an pulled out the bottom half an bit of menovering got it out,

just gotta pull my fairmont dash out now :/
