Clear the Internet Explorer cache too, it helps especially when it's filled with everything else from all the sites you've visited. Then close all IE windows and start again from there.

i've actually found that images bigger than 640x480 won't show up. i've tried to load 800x600 pics and they never show but all i do i reduce the size, and it works fine. wierd.

Try a virus scan, and then Ad aware from Download.com
