EA to ED also had lower static comp ratio's, hence why they put the knock sensor in the EF onwards to increase static and as a byproduct dynamic comp, for better fuel economy. You can change it, but from what I remember its 25% variables in the adaptive learning strategy, Im rusty on the 6's though as my stuff has been V8 dominated.
