Anyone running NGK platinum sparkies in there au?? Any differnence in performance or any other gains. Also if these are s**t plugs what are the best?

i'm running them in my NL fairlane, they go well, i found they ran better at higher revs. not too bad at all.

if your gunna spend the money on em why not go a bit better and get the NGK Iridiums then? According to NGK there better than the Platnums.

edit: just incase your interested, i've got the iridiums, noo issues, run fine on lpg too

sorry, my bad, i am running the iridiums, not platnums.

iridiums go well.

Price for a set of 6??? And what gains did you guys get out of them was it just high rev gains or throughout. :D :D I think i'll get them any way cause the thought of never having to change my f**k plugs again is worth the dosh. :D :D :D What leads should i run with the iridiums????

retail on the NGK Iridiums at $24.99.
The genuine Ford plugs from Ford Spare Parts for the BA MKII XR6T (can't remember the brand, but there iridium too) are about half the rpice.

I think i picked mine up from thompson ford or around $12 a few months back and dont have no problems either.

I have NGK iridiums, add me to the 'happy with 'em' list.
16 bucks each at supercheap. I also put a set of Qld Ignition Leads on at the same time.

I'd still take mine out ever service and refit to stop any future issues!

and that, i had to take out plugs that were fitted to a nc, no anti sieze, during work experience at ford service a few years ago, don't know how they actually all came out in one piece.
