If you use a pod filter not enclosed in a box getting direct cold air intake but instead its getting the warm heat from the engine bay is it bad for the motor? cant it warp the head or something? cheers

warp the head??? no

u will suffer power loss as hot air is less dense than cold air

the denser the air = more fuel = more power

box the pod or remove it and use a K+N/BMC panel filter
