ROFL - Yes I am sure it only has 143.8rwkw because of the pod. And yes I do know the car.

BTW: My EF made 146rwkw on 2 dyno's with stock intake.
power figure means jack on the street.. ive actauly watched an EF XR6 5 spd with a pod off the throttle body with shilds blocking hot air from it and a scoop feeding the pod... dont know of any dyno numbers as i met the dude/car at WSID but he ran 14.1s.... EF 5spd XR6 !! (with small MT's)..

So how does the fact that this car made 14.1 contribute anything to the value of this modification?

Power figures are far from meaningless for finding the effect of modifications on an engine.

you see it does contribute stockstandard.. as a car of similair make ran that time with THIS MOD.. and figures on a dyno can mean many things..

you will lose power attaching the pod right to the TB, especially on EA-ED. reason being: hot air coming straight off the radiator/air con condensor..being blown by the fan, straight into the POD.

turns CAI into HAI. useless.

Here is a pod filter setup that I made for a Ford/Mazda Courier/Bravo 2.6 MPFI Petrol. The owner said he got another 100Km further on a tank of fuel at hiway speed with the A/C on, and heaps more power, better response, starts quicker. He is very happy with it. The air gets to it from around the head light.
