Just a quick one...... Do the Police Computers in the EF / EL drink more Fuel then the standard ones ?

Didn't think computers drank fuel. But maybe since it's a cop one its to wash down all the donuts.

Seriously though, I don't think they will raise your fuel consumtion.

i've been more inclined to give mine more of a boot with my tickford ECU, so it might indirectly cause more fuel consumption :P

cool, the only reason i ask is because they rev higher at lower Km's i have been told.

this would be that the overdrive does not lock up untill 60kmhr thats all

for a car to rev higher at differnt rd speed would need a diff diff and or wheels

mitch all the power button does is alter the shift points so the cars higher thats all

I'd expect slightly worse fuel consumption as IIRC the box doesnt change into 4th before 60km/hr?

I'd say the difference would be a piss in the wind tho...

correct mart - i used to watch my fuel consumption on the T/C like a hawk, and the tickford ECU slightly bumped up my inst L/100km - eg before it may have been 12.5L/100km, with ticky was closer to 13L/100km - etc!
