hello, I have a stock 95 EF need some advice, where the bloody hell can u find a police chip for fords? My drunk mate reckons u can get it at supercheap for 100bucks is he dreamin? Ive also owned an 87XF Sports awesome drive, an 91 EA Sports awesome looks and drive, and i currently have a garaged 75 XB Coupe im restoring all round awesome, this thing gives me the shivers hehe

Save your $$
Police ECU's (Opt20) don't give you anymore power. Theres two minor differences, shift pattern and no 4th gear until over 80kph. (no manual police ecu's were produced to my knowledge) Some had speed limiter removal (not all) and lifted the rev limiter. Basically its a waste of money. BUT! you can tell everyone it has a police computer at the pub.

yea found website but i only need a chip for more horses so far they dont seem to hav these does anyone?? Need to boost power from stock kw

yea f**k it no1 knows much on this topic i'll just slam on a super charger
after i ream cams, damn man, then do cat, after that i'll replace air filter, how much is a new exhaust front to back including new racing tip???

know how u can drive a man supercharged V8 coupe with a broken arm and a shattered knee any1 know how??? Havin new racing seats fitted in my XB on monday cant wait gonna look s**t hot man hehe

Yes, your mate is talking crap. You cant buy police tunes from supercheap or anywhere really.
Dont be gay and expect loads of power from a plugin chip though. Just get 4.11 diff gears and a cam installed for around $1000. That'd help your mad max endeavours a lot better

you can pick up tips with sic led's in them off ebay for $40.

Sorry if it seemed like u wasted ur time posting this topic dude, but why
did cops use them then, surely not just to increase rev limiter, i mean now they use superchargers why didnt they think of this before? Im pretty sure the chips opened up all ports and and increased piston ignition with some other treats not been heard of?? So dont diss people coz they ask queastions!!

Police don't get magical power, and they certainly don't manipulate the emission laws.
You get a few little extra goodies, in regards to shift patterns revs etc, then there's suspension refinements, interior lighting.
