howdy guys just wondering what you thought of my rocker cover and maybe how i should polish it next time to get an even better shine.

Have a smoke or a drink before you take another photo of the engine bay......so you stop shakin taken the photo.

Nah its just too shiny. Polish it all up and clean it and put a high temp clear over. Should keep it shiny for longer so I've heard.
Anyone clarify

too shiny?? i thought it wasn't shiny enough. Yeah i might have to have a look at getting the clear done thanks!

Nah was done for me through my painter, did something for him,

just need to give it another go over and a polish and will be good to go on

Just a thought, have you thought about using a cloth wheel and polishing compounds?

After what you've done or after using 200 & 400 grit emery. Use the cloth wheel & polishing compound will actually make the surface mirror like.

Doing this should mean you can get away with a clear coat.

PS What you've done already looks good!

yeah ive already gone over it with the cloth wheel and put the wheel on a die grinder and hit it i was lookin for more of a like mirror/chrome finish. and i have also sanded using 240 & 400 and wet sanded with 400 grit.

"Autosol" is your friend... get some fromaround 9-10 dollars a tube.. and a few good clean rags..
