Hi All,

Car died on the wknd and couldnt get it to start. Had a bit of a play around and at first thought it was EFI relay playing up. Then noticed there was an arc coming of the coil to a hose.Is this a sign the coil is stuffed?will replacing the coil eliminate this issue?

Also read through some threads about this and people have spoken about relocating the coil.Any idea where the best spot to relocate coil to?

Thanks in advance
Dan

I extended the wire on the loom and put the ign coil infront of the airbox, behind the headlight. Doesn't get water or oil on it and doesn't get hot being bolted too a engine block. Easy access as well. Also when i park in a dodgy area I just pull the ign coil lead off and put it in my pocket and walk away.
