the power antenna connecter? if u mean the wire that makes the arial go up when the stereo is on, its behind the headunit .. should be a blue/white wire .. if u mean the actual arial cable, it plugs in to an extension in the bodywork of the car, you can get to it from behind the ECU, from there it goes to the back of the headunit too.

sort of on the right track there with the last one. The book refers to a electrical plug the is in the region of the ECU. I.e. u have 2 cables coming for the antenna itself, 1 aerial, 1 power connecter. I am after the bit inside the car that the power connecter plugs into. Do you understand what i am saying now?

would the BEM control the aerial? if so you'd be fine with the futura BEM (a mid series one) = the Gli is the only one given the pov-pack low series BEM... are you going to fit genuine or after market aerial?

ok yes it is controlled by the BEM, yes it is a futura, but i am starting to think that the power antenna was only an option on the higher series BEM i.e. fairmont up, and yes it is a genuine. But if someone can tell the location of the plug i can tell if it is controlled by the BEM or not

according to my w/shop manual only high series BEM's control the aerial, considering futuras don't come with the aerial control switch i'd say that's right
