hey guys. having some weird issues with the falcon recently....
it seems to have little power from 1500/2000 and under.... then after that it pulls like it should.
ive checked for vacuum leaks, checked the vacuum thing on the intake and that seems to be working fine. i know the fuel pump was replaced 3years back so that should be fine. fuel filter was done about 10,000ks ago maybe that could be it???

anyhelp would be great =)

cheers jason

Fuel filter should last longer than 10000km...unless you run it low all the time with an already dirty tank. Also if the fuel filter is blocked, you'd experience fuel starvation at high revs and not down low.

Check your catalytic converter...may be blocked.

All in the technical library...

documents.php?d=52

or instead of trying to earth out tiny pins in the connector... Your other option is to buy yourself the diagnostic tester and keep it as you may never know when you need it...

ecu-fuel-system-eec-f21/anyone-here-no-how-to-make-ef-ford-falcon-diagnostic-unit-t31656.html?hilit=murray

Murray is still around if you PM him he will gladdly make one up for you... I bought a digital one and has been worth its weight in gold thus far...

Cheers,
Tim
