If leak is on back of pump get it sorted quick before the oil goes down through alternator. Mine was leaking and being lazy just kept toping it up. Next thing alternator died due to being soaked in P/S oil. Real expensive. Fixed all that then rack sprung a leak. Fitted new rack and switch. Switch lasted all of 2 months. Replaced again (under warranty) so waiting, waiting, waiting. No leaks yet! This was the EF by the way. Have fun

sorry to hijack the thread a little, but if the PS switch is faulty, will the car struggle to hold rpm or be slow to bump up RPM while turning the wheel at standstill?
