I saw on your cardomain website, that you've got a few things. The Powerchip will hardly do anything.

Your better off looking at something like a ChipTorque ($595 new) or Unichip ($1400 tuned new), or $400 2nd hand, and then $400 to get it tuned. You'll find minimum 10-15rwkw gain. A powerchip would be lucky to find 5-10rwkw gain.

Just my 2c.

Look for a 2nd hand unichip (useless has one for sale now), or go for a ChipTorque, which don't have to be custom tuned. You can tell them your mods, and they will quickly pre-program a tune, before they send it out to you.

I bought mine from Silverwater Automotive Services in sydney.

Im yet to re run the car on the dyno since the fitment of the chip which should see it close to 150rwkw.

hi

guys this is not a sales pitch , but most of these so called unchip and chiptorques add on piggyback boxes are very limited to what they can do

most of them 99% just foul the standard ECU in ur car

there not properly adjusting ur air/fuel and ignition load pionts

ur tied up to there franchise meaning u do not get the software nor hardware so u can carry on further tuning where u want when u want u always have to go back to them and pay through the nose

the amount u pay for some of these gizmoes , ur better of investing ur dollars in any good aftermarket programmable computer system , where u pay a little more and get the software and or handcontroller and ur r able to tune ( depending on ur skills ) ur car when ever a mods is done and ur not tied up to there francise

cheers ( could waffle on more but im sure the admins wouldnt be happy )

have fun

so chip torque is about $600 ....how much are the Wolf V4PLUS ECU (singularly and through group buy) ... damn i missed the group buy hehe

and the benifits is that u can adjust everything to suit every mod you put on? what if ur not planning to do anything else.. would chiptorque be alrite? (i doubt ill leave it as i get more cash i always look to put it into my car :) )

I was under the impression that the powerchips are really only suited to stage 1 mods, jsut exhaust/extractors/cai

Apparantly they become useless once an aftermarket cam is installed
