Think I got quoted about $440 for pacemaker 4499's and $180 for a high flow cat, this was fitted.

I've got them on my AU, really happy with them & I paid $1100 for a full system with High Flow Car..

High flow cat is useless. They only advertise flow gains >5000rpm, and considering your redline at 5500, you're not really going to get much bang for buck there.
Cheap "hi flow" cats flow less than stock, and the proper ones are over 300 and perform as mentioned above.
You are better to get a cat from an AU and weld that up in there, it'll flow a bit better than stock E series... and unless you are chasing every single rwkw I would just get some Genie headers, fair bit cheaper than the pacies.
An AU cat from the wreckers is about 60 bucks, probably 350 for genies and about 90 labour should set you back about 500 fitted.
