Well it's comming to an end, after much consideration ive decided to sell my pride and joy, it just doesn't do it for me anymore and it costs to much to get it where i want it so i'll be selling it hopefully in the next few months.
My question is, what would be a good price. The car runs great for what it is and i will be adding a cam to it before i sell.
Mods:
2 1/2 extractors
2 1/2 exaust to a 3" tail pipe(very unique sound too)
Super lows
18x8 venom rims (3k worth)
$4500 respray Citric acid
tint
pod
stereo all round
manual convertion
exedy HD clutch

Will be doing:
Cam (something mild)
Suade or leather roof, also some of door trims etc

to me it's worth atleast $8500 but, it's mine i know whats gone into it. so i thought i would ask you guys, who can be objective.

Cheers
Acidic

ah huh yes.

250 000 on the clock

i bought it from a car yard stock as a rock, they didn't have the log books and couldn't tell me a hitory, ive seviced it my self every 5000km also had a Ford machanic doing most of the major ones, had a major service 2 months ago. Has treated me well nothing major has gone wrong with this car since ive owned it, other than a fuel pump, power steering solonoid leaked, and only just put in a new oil pressure sensor switch. other than that the engine makes good power, and is very reliable.

To the right person it might be worth maybe 6,500 - 7k?? You just never get your money back.

I'm a little biased tho, 'cos I just cannot stand that colour. IMO it looks bad on a BA. Worse on an EF.

I liked the gunmetal grey colour it was before tho..... oh well too bad!

Re the price, I just picked up a pretty much immaculate EL V8 Ghia with headers, sports zorst, bodykit and rims with only 130k's on it for 8k.

You would need a very, very keen (or stupid) person to part with that sort of cash for a 250,000k old EF GLI with fairly standard mods even if they liked the colour. Most EF's still have good paint, so I'm not sure a $4,500 paint job will be that much of a selling point?

Why spend money putting a cam in a car that you are going to sell? You're definitely wasting money there!!

But as I said, to the right person, it could be worth 10?? who knows! Advertise it at what it's worth to you and see how you go!

you might get 6500 for it
