ok ive got 2 quotes now.

both are for extractors, 2 and a half inch piping into cat. and then twin exhaust out of muffler. either side of ute.

first quote wos with pacemakers and i think new cat converter askin: $1400

the second using lukey extractors and keeping old cat askin: $800

to me that is a big difference in pricing.
wot would u go for? any advice?

i picked up pacey comps for $440, and a higher flow 2 1/2'" cat converter for $200 from Moonah Mufflers down here.
Got Lukey motivators for $270 (RRP $350) from Carline down in Mornington.
And the pacey comps definately cain the Lukey's!!!
I'd keep trying the exhaust shops if I was you. And ask for cash discount and s**t.
