hey my cars heater bearly works and the temp gage dosent move much at all would that be a bodgie thermostat
any help would be appresated cheers dylan

I would go for the thermostat. Probably stuck open

Have a look at the thermostat. If it hasn't been replaced before, I'd replace it...with new gasket/rubbers.

Also have a look at your heater tap...it might be busted which might not give you any heat. Even if the thermostat is stuck open, there should be enough warmth

ok ill investergate i got a thermostat to day ill wack that in tomorrow and see how i go

Mine (heater tap) was stuck open when I got my car...that wasn't too fun in summer! I got a new one off ebay for about 15 bucks IIRC.

What if it isn't thermostat or tap? Can no aircon gas cause it or is it probably going to be the core?

well the air con dosent work really well but dose keep the car just cool enought but the heater dosent really work all that well anf the gage dosent move much

Is the tap actually working?...check the vac lines...start it up and pull the vac line off of it to see if it moves. When I got mine the damn engine cover was pinching one of the lines.
