hey guys,

im having problems that when i rev the car its taking quite a while to drop the revs back to idle, even when your driving it does the same thing, or when idleing through a carpark if i get the accelerator a tap it wil rev to just over 1000rpm and stay there.

what do you guys think the problem could be??

thanks adam

Throttle position sensor. I've got the same problem with my EF XR6 but I havent managed to do anything about the TPS yet. I've changed the ISC but that had no effect.

If I can get hold of a TPS and change it and see if that fixes it I'll let you know.

Its been a common problem of late.
