Afiew weeks i got another Xh from ebay, when i got it, the motor was sad,the gearbox would not change into 4th gear, the speedo did not work and interior light buttons on the doors didnt work but the light switch will turn the light on.
i had a doner car an EF Ghia,so i fitted the ghia engine and gearbox, both of which were in great condition,
i took it for a drive today, still it will not go into 4th gear, speedo still does not work [different gearbox plus the ghia cluster and ghia speedo sencor].

Could all these problems be computer related

i need all the help you can offer
Thanks

The g/box is probably in LHM, so 3rd all the the time and TC is unlocked.
Most likely the speed sensor is not working, causing this.
Should be fault codes from the ECU though, so not a difficult one I would imagine.

Read the tech docs on here, and buy a shop manual, maybe Gregory's.
