Im helping a mate installing some hid,s into his mk1 ba xr6.
I have the correct kit(h4-2) but the hid globes have an extra globe that prevents it from centering/seating properly into the holder.
I couldnt even get the clips done up because the globes protrude so far out because of the extra globe.
Anyone else have this problem?
Not sure of the brand but they are from malz and came in a black box.

To me it looks like you would have to bend up the locking clips to get them to close and the globes would be on an angle then.
Seems not normal for a set of bolt in globes???

Well the plot thickens, it turns out this particular kit doesnt bolt straight in unless you notch the globe holder and then the low beams go off when high beam is on.
It sounds crap so i reckon it will get taken back for a refund.

They should fit right up, no worries. They rear of the bulbs are normally much larger, but the rubber back of the light will stretch over it fine.
