got a nasty leak around my thermo housin' so rather than putting it up i thought i may as well spend the dollars and get a new housing and thermostat (plus some had butchered in a switch for the thermofans).

Is there any better thermostat that i can put in rather than the stock standard falcon one, being an EBIIxr6? read in mags that with the new BA's you can change the thermostat so the car thinks it's running hotter than it actually is so therfore cools it better, and they claimed you got a couple of extra horses out of it.

if this is possible is it a worthwhile mod for the old beast?
