hey guys i know there is a few posts about pods or panel filters but just wanting to know do pod filters fit straight into an ef fairmont airbox?
Do they change anything? (performance wise)
How much would a k&n brand be?

Panel was proven better, your best off getting a k&n or redline panel filter as you will find the best results with them instead of a pod.

pod is probably best only if you do not use the airbox, run cold/ram air induction to it and seal it off from the engine bay

how do you seal them off from the engine bay?
i have heard that they make your car louder, is this true?

It's true if you've got a 4 banger, but over the 6 it's very hard to hear.

Have a search on google on 'pod filter install' or 'how to seal a pod filter' .. im sure theres something there

its not worth it, bit of sound but most people found they lost torque
