Gday, I need to get a new shifter for a roadworthy as mine has no gear indicator and doesnt hold in, i am considering purchasing a B&M Rachet shifter, The gearbox is a T700, i was wondring if the ratchet shifter has a reverse light switch, or is the switch in the gearbox?

Thanks for your help

most aftermarket shifters have microswitches for reverse and neutral start, but your 700 should have the current switch on the gearbox which you should be able to retain
