I just brought a EL Fairmont and want to do some small mods but no idea what to get or how much.

This is a list of what I want to do.
- Sequential scoop on the passenger side of the bonnet with the airbox and stuff.
- New steering wheel, Im sure I have seen ones on ebay with color inserts for EF/EL has anyone got info/pics?
- Tinted windows (best place in Melbourne to get this done)
- bodykit of some sort minus rear spoiler
- EL XR front end.

What else should I look into doing to the fairy? At the moment I dont really want to touch the motor because Im happy with the performance and its more of a cruiser.

Id go for tint first, around $200-300 go for a 20% when I got my tint on it made a big difference to the cars looks,

If it were mine, I'd forget about the XR front. The Monty front looks just as sexy, if not sexier.

The money would be better spent elsewhere IMO.

why don't you modify the xr front with the fairmont bonnet, that would be something different.
is it lowered? if not, i suggest you do that, then slap a nice set of rims on it.

Thats nothin different now ... check out www.twinlight.com.au
You can now get XR Twinlights to fit the monty bonnet... Such is my plan :)

Also mate to change your monty to an XR front end you gotta replace the bonnet and front bar and lights and the whole deal, very costly :(

I said MODIFY the xr front so you can USE the FAIRMONT bonnet. yes it would be a bit costly, but it's pretty unique, and those twin lights look s**t compared to the normal xr front, but for aftermarket lights i suppose they're not too bad.

just keep the fairmont front end.
those sequential scoops look ridiculous, and they're not gonna make f**k all difference on a standard 4L.
Yes those momo wheels on ebay will fit as long as they are ef-au.
get tint-a-car to do your tint, tint professor is s**t.

only bodykit that doesn't look homo-f**k-sexual is the ticky one, and that's upwards of 1000bucks once it's fitted and painted, maybe 2k.
