I got to disable a EL, whats the best way to do it .. i got to do it for a family memeber who is drink driving... not leeds.. i want a way that he wouldnt figure out

there is a thick wire fuse near the brake booster (on the EA anyway), unplug one side and nothing will work, lol :lol:

i just checked, its actually a plug with a single loop of wire so unpluging it might be too obvious.

edit: its not a main fuse like i thought, car still starts!

what about unplugging oxy sensor?

get underneath and disconnect the gear selector from the gearbox, pretty sure on the autos its only a split pin holding it in

Underneath the expansion tank ( where the coolant bottle is), there are 2 relays, one is Green, and one is Brown, pull either one of these and no go.
One is for fuel, and the other is a Mains relay.

why don't you fuse out for fuel didi that to my mates car worked well

yeh pull the green 1 out ( which is the fuel pump relay) because the engine will start and run for about 5 seconds and then die when there is no fuel pressure. That way you can hear if some1 has started it.
