hey all

just checking - the flange for a K&N pod to suit EF needs to be 3" yes? does anyone have the part # for the required pod? lol i've had a look on the K&N website, but too bloody confusing - too many filters! :?

Depends what style pod you want. Chrome or rubber/plastic cap, or a flowing cap, how long you want it, weather you want it cylinder shape or cone shaped, blah blah blah... they make way too many options. but yeah, 3"'d be the reight size for the neck. easiest thing to do is go into an auto store have a look at all the ones they have in stock with 3" neck and get the one you think'll work.

Fitted a K&N RX4730 to my EF, there's a couple of Pic's on a post by Futura_XR "pod adapter for air box"
