I thought I would be able to find this stuff by searching but it seems I suck at it.

Do EF-BA radiators fit in EA's?

I need one with the smaller water pump outlet to match the BA motor and I need mounting points for thermos.

Also which thermos are the best to get? Some have the fans turn on at seperate times dont they? Which fans are in which cars?

Thanks!
Dan

siyyyyyyyyyk brother

I have an EL rad with EF thermo fans modded to be the same as EL thermos and wired to EL ECU. (EF fans have different wiring to suit 3 speeds as opposed to EL's 2).

Hope that helps :)

Yes EF radiator will fit EA. I put one in without noticing that hose fitting was different  . Took it out again and mounted EF fans on EA radiator and alls good. My EA radiator had the mountings for the fans. Was told by local radiator repairer that MOST new EA units have these.

What ECU are you using as this may decide how you wire up the fans. I used a Craigs thermostat and 3 relays to control the fans. I is used for A/C and 2 for radiator cooling. No fancy half speed arrangement, just both on or off and they work fine.

Cheers, Chris
