Just wonder what the quickest way to do this is?

gregories says to remove the TB, fuel connections, and pressure regulator, all that required or is there a quicker way?

just wanting to replace the injectors with some reco ones, it it possible to squeeze them out without taking everything off?

disconnect the fuel pump first, run the engine to relief the fuel pressure.

go by the book, it never fails.

you can't squeeze it out, they're like 1 inch into the intake plenum.

hmm, wonder if i have time to do it before it gets dark ... how long should it take?

the book says to replace the o ring on the fuel regulator, if i dont have a new one should i leave it? or is it ok to reuse?

IIRC I removed the airducting around the top of the injector rail, and unbolted the injector rail - all 10mm bolts, the rearmost was in a tight spot.
Removed the clips and electrical connectors, and removed the injectors from the rail in situ.

For what they cost, I'd fit a new o ring.

Remove the throttle body
Remove electrical connections from injectors
Undo the bolts holding the fuel rail to the manifold
pull the fuel rail back so the injectors pop out the manifold
Remove the injector c-clips and pull them out the rail (fuel in the rail will run out)

Do it when the engine is cold so fuel wont spill on anything hot and there will be no pressure in the rail.

Mate you dont need 2 take the TB off. If ur just doind the injectors then all you have to do is undo the 4 10mm bolts holding the fuel rail in place, then disconnect the injectors them selves, then there should be little clips which hold the injector onto the fuel rai, take them off and after u have pulled the fuel rail back away from the inlet manifold (you can do this anytime after u undo the 4 10mm) then the injectors will just pull out.

Make sure when you are putting the new ones in that u use a little bit of Vasso on both sides of the injectors.
