hey guys i was just wondering everyone here that has a inline 6 without turbo or supercharger.. whats the best 1/4 mile run you have done?
my el xr6 with jim mock dev 5 kit has ran 14.30 sec just wanted to know if anyone has had a faster time and what they have done?? cheers

my ef XR6 ran a 15.00 with pacemaker comp extractors and a 2.5inch exhaust. EL intake pipe and a K&N filter


how much was your DEV5 kit?

I'm similar to fordfreak with a very similar engine. 14.4 @ 91mph

That's on crappy burnout tyres so with a better launch and some more agressive gear changes hopefully I can knock a few 10ths off.

Are you running a chip of some sort Brendan or is it the stock ECU ?

Nope.

The DEV 5 kit is built around a stock ECU.

yeah he isnt cheap/.. but good gear that he uses.. i reacon i could get a 14.2 or 14 flat out of my el with slicks and a good night at calder and with the 180rwkw now.. but now that i sold it to mark i dont think ill ever get the chance to test it out
