Your not buying just the plate. Your buying a preconceived idea. Someone will buy that if they had desperately wanted those plates only to find out that they are already taken. Now they are on the market the person will pay anything just to get those plates.

my father in-law has the NSW plate "jagua" been offered 8k for is, but its not for sale.. some idiot broke into his garage and stole the plates off the car.. $25 to get em restamped.

$6K is f**k all for plates in the scheme of things. I seen FORD for sale a while ago can anyone guess how much?

If this guy gets 6K + for "THE XR6". Imagine what you could get for "XR6T" or "F6TYPHOON" or "XYGHTO"...

"THE XR6" just isn't appealing is it??? If I saw these on an XR6, I would be leaning towards making the assumption that this guy may very well be a tool...

yeh gotta agree with you there, it would have to be pretty damn special to be "THE XR6"
