:(
I emptied the old coolant and flushed it out. I put in 5L of coolant concentrate Nulon then tried to add in distilled soft water but it would only take 4L instead of 15 L all together. (The other 6L of water wouldn't fit).
Is there going to be a problem because coolant isn't diluted properly?
Help please.... thanks

Did you actually remove and 'flush it'? or just drop the fluid?

The correct way is to remove and pressure wash it backwards, then run the engine with the heater on with a slow running tap as a water source, or even better, remove the thermostat and flush it out.

No you won't be able to complete fill the water system, most stays in the block and the heater core.

Most likely you won't have an issue with the concentrate but it is advisable not to mix C**k.

depends what the coolant bottle says.

You can use different ratio's. some say 50/50 some say less.

as for the other 6 L not fitting. I assume you dropped the old coolant and flushed it out with a hose?

There will always be left over coolant in the system after a flush - block and heater core etc. So yes if you flushed it it will be diluted more because there will still be 6L of what ever you flushed the system out with in there.

what I did was add radi"flush in to reservoir then run 20min with heaters on and let it cool down and drain it then flush it again with water and drain it again, I changed new top and bottom hoses and added 5 L of coolant and 4 L distilled water. I didn't remove thermostat though,so u guys reckon it will b ok? I am just concerned about damaging the headgasket if didnt do it rite. The coolant bottle says 5L coolant and 10L t***. I appreciate your advice thanx.
