Just wondering if anything bad happens if I take it of for a second? Will liquid come flying out or somthing cause its in the way of things that I need to do.

if the radiator has pressure aka if the car is still hot after a good run this yes coolant will come spewing out but if the car is cold not been running at all then coolant will just flow out at a good pace

Nothing bad will happen but coolant will come out, make sure it is cool when you do it so you dont burn yourself. MAke sure you top up with the same coolant that came out. Mixing coolants IS a bad thing.
