Hey everyone....my EA Fairmont Ghia broke down on me on wednesday in the city. I was half way into the car park and it stalled on me. I tried startin it again but it didnt wanna start. I checked the fuel pump and that was working. I check the spark on the leads and there was a spark. RACV said that it was an ignition problem. Either the coil pack or the ignition module. the car is at home now and i replaced the coil pack and it still didnt start. My only guess is the module f**k but im not 100% sure.

I need some quick help because not having a car is annoying.

cheers my blue oval brothers

You have spark at the plug yes? Do you have an injector pulse?

why sell it? you just solved possibly the one big fault these cars have...

i have learnt your better off sticking with a car then buying a new one as your 60% likely to run into the same issues with the new car (speaking from experience)
