Gday i think my rear main seal could be leaking abit, anyone no how much it costs to replace?

seal about 30 and depends if its a auto or not

The sump gaskets can leak too, looking like a rear main seal.

Yeah its an auto, i was told the tranmission has to be takin out or dropped down to do it, so i guess it might cost abit anyone no how much it would be at a mechanic

a mec would charge quite a few hundred to do so but if ya had a shed and a few solid hours on the weekend you can save yourself alot of money, speaking from experiance... just get a trolly jack that damn trans is heavy...

look at around 200 mabye for a reamain seal to be done whole job by taking auto out and back in

Before jumping the gun and assuming its the rear main seal. Degrease the area and check sump bolts are torqued up to spec. The inspection plate can be removed from the trans to getter a better look.

Also have a check with a mirror and torch around the rear rocker cover area - if the half moon gasket area leaks, the oil will flow downwards, and make it seem like a rear main seal leak.

there's alot of diffrence from a rear main leak to an rokker cover leak the cover leaks are usually like a mist not a actual dripping leak unless you've got massive blow by... look at the little gap between the engine and trans, if there oil coming out of it you've got a problem
