G'day mate
Re oil pump. In a guide on rebuilding the Falcon 6 (Performance Buildups magazine Vol 15 No1) referenced by Brendan Mock ( this the guide your using? ) a high volume low pressure oil pump is recommended so I reakon your on the right track if it's hvlp.

Repco / Coventrys etc. should sell dizzies to suit and price I believe is very reasonable (should be about $120 - that's complete with TFI module) - apparently mechanics fit whole dizzy if the module dies because it's actually cheaper than pulling the old dizzy, fitting a new module and reinstalling it etc.!

Battens Performance Tuning sell a "Performance" TFI module that gives longer spark - check out their site.

I got quotes from Burson and Ford for distributor prices (the whole thing). Both are Bosch...just Ford has theirs restamped/labelled. Burson charged $250 while Ford charged $510.

I'll stick with Bosch for stock one...and am willing to pay $250 for it. I got a quote from Autobarn as well and they sell it at $140...though not sure what brand...didn't ask.

Damn!! Those are amazing price differences!! - I was under the impression it was genuine/Bosch ones that were in the 120 or so range. I was charged 120 by a workshop about a year ago and they had said it was a new Bosch one they used... - useless f**k took 4 days and charged me $600 labour to figure out it was the module (yes, that pack of retards had it 4 days and charged me 4 days labour to track it down!!!) so it figures they probably s**t me about it being Bosch.

Might be a Nardek dizzy. They sometimes have a grey cap, and no markings of any kind on them too.
