Greeting all Ford fans alike,

What I have is an EL-Falcon 1996 (Futura) and I want to modify the engine to gain better and smoother acceleration. So far I'm thinking extractors, exhaust and cam. But what exactly I don't know (input appreciated)

I am not after a total speed-demon machine here (although that would be nice), just something that can pull away the competition with authority from a stand still.

Any feedback or input will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers...

Well youre heading down the right track. The most common thing seems to be a snorkel, k and n filter, a set of pacemakers or something similar, and a 2.5 - 3 inch exhaust. Oh, and a reground wade camshaft. :D

The best direction I could send you would be to a sticky thread at the top of this page. That has hints and tips about making your EF go faster and gives rough prices as well!
