Hey everyone
On the weekend i ran off the road in my EF Futura 6cyl and squashed the tailpipe.
I've been trying to remove it but i'm having trouble seperating it from the rest of the exhaust.
I removed the clamp and mounts but can't break the sealent between the two pipes.
I was just wondering if anyone knows an easy way to break the sealent?

Thanks

get some, wd40 and spray around the seem and then get a block of wood and place it on the box and hit it with a rubber mallet.

lol, i got the s**t with doing that after about 5 minutes of it not moving on my old exhaust, so i ditched the wood and rubber mallet, and grabbed my metal hammer and bashed the f**k out of it with that  didnt dent/deform anyhting though, as i was hitting it on the bracket thats welded on the box ( the one the rod holding the rubber bolts to)
