Rang Repco today to get some prices on a lukey cat back system for the EL.
I think these are trade prices 2.5" Sports Intermediate AL5-4022 $184.00 2.5" Sports Rear AL5-4025/4563 $153.00 2.5" Tail Pipe alternative for rear T4025 $84.00 Anyone here got lukey systems from repco before? And do they have the 2 hangers on the tail pipe sect and the bracket on the back of the main muffler. The sales guy couldn't tell me these things?? I want to fit it myself!!! cheers..

Yes they do. The Lukey exhaust Repco sells are the same as the Lukey systems you get from anywhere else. There made to be a direct replacement for the factory system, just with bigger piping and freer flowing mufflers.
O, and just a tip, I'd be haggling those prices as they can knock them down a fair bit... Have you go quotes from anywhere else? Just that for around here for $300.00 you can get the exhaust supplied and fitted... |

i rang some places in Mackay, Qld today and the cheapest sytem i could find was from Carline, Muffler Shop.
$320 2.5" Lukey system with 1 muffler and no tip. 2nd cheapest place was surefit exhausts they wanted $360 for a Mercury 2.5" 1 muffler system. 3rd place was $500. So yeah, i thought i could get a system fitted for around $250... Anyone know any other cheap places say in Rockhampton?

The 2.5" Lukey system, with single straight thru muffler AND new engine pipe that I got on my XF was only 300 odd. From carline, installed.

i got a 2.5inch sports cat back exhuast from exhuast bro's. 1 muffler and no tip for $350.
and it sounded like a f@rt bomb...

hey i got my lukey exhaust system installed 2 weeks ago at midas sounds prety good now i got the 2.5" exhaust sports mufler sports tailpipe the cost of the muffler was $227 the tip i chose cost $30 and the 2.5" sports tailpipe cost $81 installed but because i paid cash they did the whole thing for $250 im prety sure that midas are a australia wide company.. im happy with the sound and i noticed abit more of a grunt low end.

Scan your receipt if you got one. EL__Fairmont print it out, take it to places and ask them to price match. |
