Hi again all,

Just wondering if someone could point me towards a good exhaust place in Brissy.

I was looking at right price exhausts in Moss St, but have heard mixed reviews.

I'm looking for a 2 1/2, (maybe even 3") setup including headers. with that though, can i still retain the existing AU cat?

Budget is $1k tops :)

Thanks in advance.

Hey Mate,

Chris jarvis as Noosa Exhaust is brilliant. I was able to get Pacemaker 4480 comps, hi-flow metallic cat, 2 1/2 inch mandrel bent exhaust and chrome tip fitted for $1120.

Best money i have ever spent.

(Sorry its not in brizzy, but close enough)

The only thing I have heard about them is $1200 for a catback exhaust on an XH ute.. No BS, I posted this about a year ago.

Right Price in Slacks Creek has been really good in my experience. I used to live in Brissy, have had 3 exhaust jobs done by them on 2 different cars. 1 was a full sys, and the other jobs were minor.

Have always been happy with their work, so has my brother and any of my mates who have been there.

Do yourself a favour and go and see Brad at Mr Muffler in Sumner Park. Ive used him for all my cars and wouldnt go anywhere else!

He does everything from complete custom work and handmade mufflers through to off the shelf cat backs.

Great price too :D

My suggestion is rob bliss exhausts at geebung. I know a heap of people who have been there and been very happy with what they got and there price isnt too bad either.

That and I have no idea what they do but everytime I have been there for and exhaust system, it has sounded so nice. My current car is a 6 but has a awesome note that tends to confuse people into thinking its something better then it is.

Hey. I don't want to hijack the thread at all, but thought i mite save making another one given my question fits pretty closely.

Bit of background, i have a 98 el falcon, its been lowered, but i think my muffler is sitting a whole lot lower than its meant to, i have trouble getting over a lot of speed bumps without hearing something nasty.

My question is, how much (just a ballpark figure) am i looking at for a new 2.5" exhaust? I've got no idea on specs of my exhaust, and im not chasing anything too fancy, just somethin that does the job, and sounds alright at the same time. I'm on the sunny coast, so noosa exhaust would probably be where I end up, but just thought i'd get bit of an idea of what to expect, so its not too much out of the hip pocket at once.

This weather sucks when it comes to working in a quarry, so my money coming in isn't exactly huge, so don't wanna be hit with a huge bill for a new exhaust.

cheers

I used Southport Exhaust on the Gold Coast. Not in Brisbane but worth a good recommendation.
